Welcome to Dorset Architectural Heritage Week
Dorset Architectural Heritage Week is an annual event which aims to stimulate public awareness of Dorset's rich architectural and cultural heritage by allowing free access to many properties that are normally closed to the public or charge for entry.
The first half of the week is part of the national
Heritage Open Days but Dorset contains such a wealth of fascinating architecture that the events continue in the County for a further four days!
Since 1994 Dorset Architectural Heritage Week (DAHW) has developed to such a degree that the Dorset Conservation Officers now work in partnership with East Dorset Heritage Trust to organise the week-long event.
